Bridesmaid Dress Styles

Right now the plan is to have between 3 and 4 bridesmaids. However, while I was visiting So Cal and getting wedding related stuff done, I only had 2 of my bridesmaids with me so that is all that will be seen in these pictures.

In a previous post (and on the wedding website) I posted the pictures of our fabric for the dresses and explained that we will be having them made. At the time however, we weren't sure what the style was going to be so while we had 2 bridesmaids, we decided it would be smart to have them try on some different styles so we can get an idea of how we want to have them made.

On Wednesday after running some other errands, we headed over to David's Bridal and picked out a bunch of different styles (I only took pictures of one's we thought were possibilities).

We have not yet decided if the girls will all wear the same dress style with different color sashes or if the dress styles will be different (with different sash colors). Also, if they wear different styles, we may have my sister, the maid of honor, wear one style and the other 2 or 3 girls wear another style (rather than every girl different). Like I said, we have yet to make a decision on all that.

For most of the following pictures, we are looking more at the style of the top of the dress rather than the whole dress itself and obviously the types of fabrics will be different.

If we decided that all girls will wear the same style, this might be the style we go with because it can work on for all different shapes and sizes (not really a fan of the this dress exactly).
This is another style option if we decide to go strapless. We have also considered have the maid of honor wear a halter style dress and the other 2 or 3 girls wear a strapless similar to this. (I just love this dress in general - so cute)
Here is a nother strapless option, this one with the correct width of sash and we are considering doing something similar with the color at the bottom (it can be seen better in the next picture).
This is a closer picture of how the color peeks out under the dress at the bottom... it's a nice way to add a little more color to the dress in a fun and subtle way.

We have not made any final decisions on the style of dress but we at least have a better idea of what we want so we can make a decision once we it is time.
